  • Measure 1 tablespoon of whole clove buds;

  • Add the water and the clove buds in a pan;

  • Boil the clove buds for 3-4 minutes;

Some recipes, like the one that we mentioned before, involve using whole glove buds. Others include grinding the clove buds and producing clove powder. During pregnancy, cloves can stimulate the uterus and cause contractions. This can lead to premature labor.
